On August 22nd 2023, Graphic Designers from near and far came together at a stunning beachside setting, the New Brighton Surf lifesaving club. It was everything we had hoped for - bringing a community of designers together to learn, inspire and connect with each other.

Community over competition

The atmosphere was truly welcoming with a warm and friendly vibe, regardless if people had arrived by themselves or with someone they knew. The ideas flowed as easily as the conversations, and our speakers shared insights that ignited creativity and offered some handy tips for creative work processes.

Inspiring speakers

Our Speaker Matt Innes from Strategy shared stories from his incredible and inspiring journey as a designer working with big brands, and our panelists Abby, Serena and Simon were honest when answering some tricky questions from the attendees.

A morning of learning, inspiration and connection

And of course, the brunch was delish! Great food paired with great coffee created an ideal space for mixing, mingling, and even a little business talk.
